Guidelines for Artists Working in Hospital (2006)
These guidelines were commissioned by Claire Pope from J Wilson Associates for Tonic, the former Arts and Environments programme for Leeds Teaching Hospitals, which sadly closed earlier this year. They are particularly aimed at performing artists and cover a wide variety of topics from child protection, to infection control, to protecting the wellbeing of the artist. Well worth a read. Please credit Claire Pope, J Wilson Associates and Tonic if using or quoting from this document.

Training for Arts and Health
A list of training courses in arts and health (with a focus on visual arts and music, although some are general), including both university courses and modules and practical training offered by arts organisations. This area is changing all the time so please check information before relying on it.

The Arts and Health scene in the UK and how it fits – or doesn’t – with Government policy (2010)
Prepared this for an interview last year. My take only, and given the funding cuts, probably a guide to past developments only.
