Hi Josie
I got the job!
Really interested to find your website (I’ll be back) and would be pleased if you/your readers can point me at any national best practice e.g.s of cpd specifically in arts for health.
Thanks/Best wishes
Jay Haigh
Hi Jay,
Congratulations! There is a bit of a lack of CPD for arts and health, and what there is isn’t very well signposted (one of the reasons I set up this site). However, keep an eye on the website of London Arts and Health Forum (you’ll find it in the links) as they are developing a new national website for arts and health and one thing it will include is a list of training courses. I know there is a module on offer at Staffordshire University, although I’m not sure how convenient that is for you. Also, I can recommend Mike White’s recent book The Arts in Community Health: A Social Tonic for a historical overview, if you haven’t already read it.
Best wishes,
Josie
